                           On
                          the
          flip side
of dreams,
         where
distance
                                is
                                                       but
                           a sigh...

A very English goodbye, & goodnight ;~)
Breathe me,
So I may be the air,
To sustain you,
With a new exhilarating sensation,
For you have never met,
A beauty quite as fair.

May the inhales of breath,
Give you my tantalizing aroma,
To waft through your mind,
For all eternity as each exhale,
Entwines your spirit with mine,
Reaching a point of immense depth,
So pure and divine.

Time seems to freeze,
As Hazel eyes mirror my own,
Glancing up my form,
As you witness a treasure,
So grand and rare,
Engendering you to be bereft.
Of all senses,
Except for the feeling to stop and stare.

You speak the words,
Of an effable language,
In such a distinct dialect,
Only the key of your heart,
Opens the lock of my own,
Through those amorous words,
Only the beating of our hearts may decipher,
Even if fate leaves us worlds apart.

Fingers interlacing in an affectionate embrace,
As our hearts waltz in the stillness,
Of the night,
As I notice the sway of your hip,
Full of masculine grace,
Pressing your body against mine,
As you me so deliciously tight.

The moment I encountered you,
I reach the peak of the highest mountain,
Falling as I may,
You bestow me with the gift of insight,
Wrapped in a ribbon of trust,
Ever so bright;
A chance I have never been granted before,
So even if I slip,
Your love always keeps me,
From shattering upon the Valley floor.

Loving you is all you ask of me,
So forever I shall,
Until I no longer breathe,
Our cold bodies soon to be side by side,
Under an old willow tree.

She pays the price in teardrops, for the pain our love buys,
my eyes remain wet, day and night pining for her heart,
as hearts bleed from the thorns of yearning stuck deep,
lovers in the grip of silent suffering, feel their love is cleansed.

Mia
Who I am falls apart, when you're here.
I can't think straight, I don't want to.
You make me see things different.
I lose myself in you.
You're in every corner of my mind,
Chasing memories of when I was with you.
I look into your eyes and beg you
To take me.
I'm trying to find a place in your mind.
Where we can lie and fall in love.
you wrote me
within the lines on your palm
like a fragrance
held back too long
i hold this space
finding no cause for fear
in this unspoken emotion
that hangs between us
like a cozy muteness
our eyes
are two cliffs
pulled apart,
our stolen glances
daring to vault across
burn into my consciousness
the visions that you see
make me unburdened
of this cold i feel
and let me
join your flight
over the stars
or
repose with you
on the soft grass
read to me
and let me
sing you a lullaby

this is what life
should be all about.

Cliffs of rocky words crumble into
landslides of incomplete sentences
I climb your ill frigid mountain
of self-righteous commitments
Gathering suppressed memories
I reach the summit of your greed
There the air is far too thin to breathe

The fear of your heights paralyzing
The cold of your winter realizing
I see my breath as the frostbite starts
Your avalanche of resentments fills my heart
Breaking my spirit, arresting my soul
'Til all that's left is you, the model I role

A footing unfit for vindication
A biography unfit for syndication
I froze in your tundra so many years ago
Until at last, like you I am the snow
I lost myself zeroes below...
Nurture or nature?
