The ***** wind peeping through my windows
Distracting me to notice him
Caressing me delicately
To take me out for a date of wings

The hot sun sending me arrows of rays
Distracting me to notice him
Warming me softly
To take me out for a date of fire

But the moon
Smiling like an innocent child
Distracting him to notice me
And take me for a date of candle light

Raindrops falling like pearls on her neck
Sun shines like the dazzling of her nose ring
Breeze is the air, she breathes out
Moon smiles like her glowing eyes
Blooming lotus of her smiling lips
Plantain stems of her hands and legs
Crawling snakelike is her move
Icing sugar as sweet like her voice
Milk with saffron is her colour
Every beauty comes out of her
She is the beauty of God's creation
Admiring her from far away
Knowing that beauty cannot be his love

Life is a book of growth
Ending in a fading death
Completing the cycle
Where every chapter
Carries a common thing
And that is love

Stages filled with love
Of a million characters
Helping us to grow
Easing our struggle to
Overcome each stage
And meet a peaceful death

But this selfish,greedy
And materialistic world
Becoming the hurdle of peace
Teaching us not to expect
Either a peaceful life nor
A peaceful death !

In the amidst of a tea garden of confusions
Me, standing like a tea-cup
Under the sun with sweat of water
Mother plucking my talents of tea leaves
Choosing the assured ones from the basket of thoughts
Making a coarsely powdered of choices
Dropping two spoons of it in my mind of cup
Adding her blessings of milk and wishes of sugar
Bringing out of me a sweet tea of output
Earning the taste of many loving hearts

Feeling light-hearted
Pouring out my thoughts
In the form of poetry
On a place where millions
Of Kind hearts to share
Accepting me as a friend
Encouraging,Inspiring
And adoring my words
Giving me a credence
Of being someone
In this world of ignorance
Thank you all for your support and love

It was a cloudy morning
Feeling sleepy like a snail
Retracting into my shell of blanket
Travelling to the world of sleep again
Queen termites coming flying through my window
Informing me the arrival of rain
Disappointed were they of seeing me hiding
Back to their group of comrades
Ready to welcome the rain !

Boat was ready to leave the shore
An Old man waving hands to get in fast
People come running to the boat,
The only transportation of the village
Sitting in a tea shop watching
The boat leaving with school students, working women,
Fish sellers, vegetable vendors,
Old age youths
It was raining to make it more worse
Back to home with an umbrella of palm leaves
Calling out the number of coconuts ready to pluck
A man on top of the coconut tree with his loops
Courtyard was full of blooming flowers
My favourite the jungle flame flowers
Frog hops after the raindrops
Some hot rice porridge and coconut dip
Was kept ready on the table
Drying my hair with a towel
Had my porridge watching the rain, flowers, flies
And my mother standing near me
With an innocent lovely smile !
