honor

~~~
o
how
do i even
begin to thank
all the brave men and women
who gave of their lives
so we here at home
would have safe peace
you are all stars
in my eyes!
Notes
this is written especially
for my father Clinton Jarvis
he lost most of his hearing
as a gunner's mate
in the Pacific Theatre
during WWII
he was in the Sea of Japan
during the kamikaze
raids - a terrifying ordeal!
I just want to thank him!
