The sky slips into a deep,
Dark indigo.
And the moon smiles
Looking down upon the lovers
Lying in the grass,
Breathing in the sleepy bouquet of evening spring.

They acknowledge the constellations as
Fireflies dot the earth, and
They kiss (star struck),
Hoping that time will stop
Allowing them to live this moment
For eons.
