She broke into tears,
She was broken heart, mind and soul.
The pain demanded to be felt.
She felt it all over, ripping her very being apart.

It seemed like her body…
Like her body had cracked.
Sometimes you need to crack,
For light enters only through the cracks.

She didn’t think she could be fixed.
She considered herself an emotional wreck.
Her purity was polluted by his filthy looks, hands.
There was no cure, no remedy, she was abused.

She masked her pain behind a smile,
A broken smile, a smile nonetheless.
They were astonished that she was so brave.
She didn’t need their pity, she just wanted to be healed.

His memories haunted her every day!
She was just a little girl,
What was the beast thinking when he violated her?
He violated her body, her mind, and scarred her for life.

The pain shot through her, taking her breath away.
She couldn’t breathe,
She couldn’t fathom how broken she was.
She just had to move on!

Move on from him!
Move on from the torture he afflicted upon her.
Move on from the memories etched in her heart!
Hit the delete button on him and his memories!
