The silence is calling.
The silence is beckoning.
I can hear it.
I can feel it.
My lids grow heavy
And my head nods against my chest
In time with my slowed heartbeat.
The silence is around me.
The silence is everywhere.
I embrace it as it embraces me.
Silence, silence, silence,
It calls.
*Come, sleep.
Fight the foes of your world
And vanquish them in your sleep,
For when you sleep,
The troubles will come,
But you can fight them,
Defeat them, overcome them.
Come, and be the hero you never dreamed you could be.
