Construction

- Joseph Childress

Construction

Some people

Put

Their worth

In the hands of others

Let them

Decide

Others fight

Off

With words

Or get

Disturbed

By interruptions

In class

Why reply

With what I believe

Are the makes

Of I

When it’s

Construction

Is still

In progress

The finished

Monument

Will stand

Before all soon

And no one

Will question

Its greatness.
