Mother
My mother took me into her loving home
Gave me an amazing family to call my own
She held my hand through scary times
Showed me love and sang me rhymes
Tucked me tight through the night
She said don't let the bed bugs bite
Years flew by and now I'm grown
I also created a family of my own
Learned values from her that stayed with me
Now teach my own to follow thee
My Mom is great and hope they see
Just how special you are to me
If you need me I am here
As you were for all those years
I'll hold you're hand and hold you close
Then listen to you when you need the most
Remember my love runs deep for you
Let me show my caring gratitude
