Were I a companion, in playful heart
To thy aery errands, carried there
As a dead leaf, by the spirits of the wind.
That this rocky cleft, and its blue dress of dew
May tell my senses a murmur, a tale
That faith in wonderous things may faint,
And unravel what belief dares not paint.
