May 2014
Death surrounded me,
But you kept me safe.
Just like the corpses and the earth,
You encompassed me and we
became one.
The moon was high,
As was my spirit.
When your baby blues met my
chocolate browns,
The world disappeared.
The death was present,
But with you I was alive.
