How easily we get lost in the shuffle
Losing sight of the friends that we've made
New ones come along filling the void
Of the friends that we had yesterday

Is it the fact we're all way to busy
Or the society that doesn't much care
One way or the other we leave one another
When we most need someone standing here

Have we created disposable relationships
Made them out to throw them away
If we toss in the trash what little is left
When it's our turn will we be saved

How easily we get lost in the shuffle
Losing sight of the friends that we've made
New ones come along filling the void
Of the friends that we had yesterday
