May 2014
As I peeked, from my lanai,
Luminous air waves,
Flashed and sparkled, like thin spider veins,
Blinking into the misty dusk.

In rumbling and vibrating sounds,
Creating shocking frequencies and turbulence,
As thunder roars, neath the opaque clouds,
With a loud disturbance.

Followed by gusty winds, and cascading raindrops,
Streaming into the midnight hours,
Splashing upon the terra cotta rooftop,
Showering the garden, beautifully.
