I am a second away from the
end, it was a moment that felt
like a life time, in that moment
I smiled told them I loved them.

I knew my flame was about
to be extinguished with only a
few more lingering breaths.

I thought in those moments of
life, of love, memories I cherish
and the ones I would rather forget.

I think of all the moments that
made me who I am as I leave,
I think would I change any thing
as I look around at the ones I love.

I know with my last lingering
breath, for me I wouldn't change a
thing, I leave this place content with
what life gave me, as I exhale and
now I am gone with a smile on
my face.
