You know this place where its cold
Where the cobwebs of your mind fill
On emptiness
This is my place
That bit of our lives that no-one enters
Nor dares too

I like my corner
It feeds me when I'm weak
Brings anger to my softness
And sometimes melts my tepid soul
Into a fiery pit
Of rage

My corner also has a weakness
A look from a strangers glare
Can send me further and further into
My shivering recess
Shy and quiet I will lay
Waiting for the roar
Shhhh ....

Along with ones darkness comes
This loweringΒ Β
Eyes shielded
Only the pavement's view
Be my my foe,my friend
Oh do I pity these enemies
For one day my dark
Will be ablaze
The corner shred into light
That one day will come
Thy will be done
