Fallin'
Sometimes,
I feel like my heart is going burst.
Like I will never be able to convey,
just how much I love you.
At first it scared me,
just how much I could love another.
I always got all my love from my friends,
they were all I needed,
boys lead to broken houses.
Even when I picked someone "safe",
I got hurt.
I took a chance on you,
a leap of faith,
and it was more then worth it.
This is more then a relationship,
it's friendship.
Dancing in laughter and light,
even when the darkness corners me,
you take my hand,
and everything lightens,
if just a little.
When the monsters in my head insist that there's nothing left,
screaming that it would be better if it was over,
you can silence them.
I never thought I would find someone,
with such a profound impact on me.
I never thought I would find someone,
who I could have such a profound impact on.
A team,
who has fallin',
for each other.
