Don't be afraid?
Don't be amazed?
When sins of your past comes to you.
Injustice toward others always do.

To the ones that had to drink from a different water fountain.
When both waters were the same.
To the same ones that had to enter through the back down.
Don't be afraid?
Don't be surprised?
When sins of your past comes to you.

It has long been written and fore told we must answer for our crimes.
And in present times, we're finding that truth coming alive.
They can't run.
They can't hide.
Or seek now to be kind.
When sins of their past comes before their eyes.

The group you held down with racist ways.
And those Jim Crow's ways has evidence of your wicked ways.
And saying they are racist too has limited truth.
If its based around a few calling out you.

When you speak, it shows in your tone.
And the group you talk about know you're not brave alone.
Whether you're wearing a cone.
Or that ******* symbol upon your arm talking about America's being your home.

You can be Liberal.
Least until you speak and truth shows your true color.
You can be Conservative to which many don't know the definition.
Until sins of their past comes to them.

Fear don't lie in the group you held back.
Back within the group that hid behind the wrong their race did.
Which proves to any minority that you was fearful of your own.

Your own group held you hostage.
And still continue to do by the things they say and the things they do.
To step out of your comfort zone will open you up to comments of fools.
Similar in ways of old.

Now imagine.
Just imagine, if the table was turned.
And you was hanged from a tree.
Or had to enter the back door.
Or refused service at the restaurant counter.
Even spit upon.

You most likely couldn't handle it.
Cry highly and protest more probably be your trait.
Cause things has been given to you.
Which we seen respect WASN'T even given during the second war to the black soldiers.
While in your own nation's you was seated with  Nazis, at the dinner table.

Yes, sins of your past exposes more each day.
Where society has changed to the point that you can't get your way?
Don't talk about the black universities that formed because of you?
These founders in some  cases not all, is responsible for earning some respect to you.

Sure, you shocked and surprise that President Obama was elected the man.
Cause that position's being in your line of hands.
The scriptures predicted truth even today.
That justice will comes to those with the deepest of faith.

Even during segregation, you saw how deeply their faith.
While you claim to be in some strange way.
Sins of your past.
Judges all of us.
When God only requirement for ALL of us is to love.

I hope.
I pray that this comes to be.
Cause underneath our skin tone.
We all bleed the same color.
But judged by the sins of our path.

But scriptures states, those with out sins cast the first stone.
So I have decided to leave this poem alone.
