If only the roses in my garden smelt as sweet as you
I would die in you're inner beauty like morning dew
and as I slowly drifted to the heavens
I know you would look up as I rained my love on you

I can see you in the fields of dreams
eyes closed and you're sweet mouth open
letting my cool cold emotions wash over you
and with you're consent, make love to you

I wish you had faith in my words
all those whispers in my heart
as you slept at night I treasured you
and idealistically thought we would never part

Is a honourable action a command
does the trickle of despondency
not eventually flow fast
and in the eyes of Eve become a flood
