There are some things, you never get over,
You think about them every day, why,
Seems to be the answer, to many questions,
As you watch the years pass away.
Family, friends, and special others, who touched,
Your heart, as you travel through this life of days,
Everyone has many lessons to learn,
During their time, that’s a limited stay.
Each person, has a different purpose, their part,
In this life’s play, every life time varies,
How many breaths you will take, while acting
Your part on planet earth, which is your stage.
Some will see one hundred years, while others,
Never see a second, of one single day.
None of you ever have, or will see the script,
With lessons, you must let the pain fade,
When the original story was written,
Everyone, was to love, care, and share,
Without judging each other’s ways,
What kind of memories, are you creating,
In this life, for others,
After your soul travels, away.
