I sensed My Creator's Joy tonight;
His laughter caressed
My happy mind:
A miracle He worked for me!
One second became All of Time!

I saw ten billion Stars tonight.
Dew drops glowing in the Trees:
Lighted by the Silver Moon;
An entire Universe of leaves.

I knew then that this World we own,
Though small and blue and lost in Space.
When lighted by the Love of God,
Becomes a joyous Laughing-Place!
