You make my heart skip a beat
In a slow, barely breathing way
And that isn’t a small feat.
Smitten, smiling  and teasing.
The eternal bond from eons ago,
I’ve never thought I’d have a chance
For you to be my beaux.
Under your spell of hypnotic romance.
Days goes by and I see you in the afterglow.
We lock eyes and  our souls meet and sends shockwaves to my feet.
Leaving me stuck and paralyzed and nothing to feel except surprise.
The masked man hidden his identity.
The hero swoops in unexpectedly.
To save her from herself,
A new chapter from the bookshelf.
