while I sink to the bottom of the bathtub

longing for your touch
while being shaken back into reality

philosophizing about your voice
while melodies and bass fill the room

projecting your creature in front of me
while motion pictures buzz behind it

longing for your scent
while another sneaks past me

dreaming of different versions of you
while I try to recover

freezing although everything in me burns for you
perhaps a bath would warm me just as fine too
