The world sleeps silently,
Yet not for I,
I wake on this cold breathy night.
Wind softly hushing my stir,
But it can't hush the thoughts in my head,
On this lonesome night I am awake.
Eyes glowing wide,
Bearing witness to the stars tonight,
My soul tied to the spirits of those who lie awake too.
The Spring leap just happened and I've lost an hour of sleep.
