The moon and Venus are out tonight
Both shining bright at just about midnight
A rarity to be able to see
Happens once or twice in year for you and  me
As time sneaks by
the moon In the sky
Slowly recedes
As it proceeds
Around the world
And Venus is curled
Just up to the left
Of the moon in its cleft
What an amazing sight
As they both shine so bright!
As they go on their way into the night!
