Oct 2013
She takes her nightmare home;
It shifted and breathed deep
As it sheltered itself in the cave beneath
The cloud on which she stood
And down in the sheets under her feet.

It duplicated her lovers face;
A beast at least
She tries to cuddle in
But it seems absurd to find warmth
Next to a man who just beats
From the pounding of his heart through to his fist
Where intoxicated swings meet you in defeat

Still she has no reason to leave
Because at dawn she hides her bruises with cloth
And paints her scars with makeup
Even though he doesn't have enough devotion to her to make up

Now this man walks the streets to find his next lover
While her bones lay next to the fire
Berried under the soil because his heart was spoiled;

A bright girl with golden pearls left as a lesson;
And god bless such a confession

You see, Her heart shined brighter then all
But was pushed back because of withdrawal
Rest in peace to all who are victims of such, and an awareness to those who are in current relation like this.
