I once had a vision
that also had my end.
I was sold on a fantasy
on spoons minds could bend.
My wild imagination
did sadly comprehend
On a rock star of a trend.
Couldn't see it was all pretend,
devil's advocate of a mission.

I can't come running back,
I'm far too gone for that.

I was promised a legacy
from a beast of heresy.
Riches and accolades
A mansion with maids,
Devoted fans & family
but it all ended horribly.

I had my pride & wide of eyes
and sold a blinded pack of lies
The devil promised and retracted
and now in 4 walls I've come to hate
boiling up my soul and all of my sins.
