Dec 2024
It had been years;
Yet I still felt like
The kid sitting
At a small, silent
Lemonade stand,
Watching the cars
Pass by and the
Ice melt, clinking
Together in the
Celebratory β€˜cheers’
I imagined people
Said as they drove
By, smiling and
Laughing at my
Continued failure.
