It grieves me to see you in pain,
With all those tubes sticking out,
The roots of my womb tears me apart,
My heart bleeds.
I can come and take care of your home and family,
I can run errands for you,
I can be your caretaker,
I can sit beside you to recite the Quran and duas,
Beseeching Allah to heal you.
The doctors can ease your pain,
You scream for the pain to go away,
But love, pain is the only thing that you yourself has to endure,
Pain cannot be shared, bought or sold.
