You gave me your hand
I gave you mine
We took our fingers
And intertwined
How can something so simple
Simply feel right
As we walk hand in hand
This journey called life

We picked up the pace
About mid-way
Stepped on the gas
Foot off the brakes
As we slid past
The life that we made
Into these golden years
With touches of gray

Comfortable in
Each other’s hand
How ever long, we’re given left
From the first intertwine
Of fingers we had
We knew it was right
The perfect life
Both hand in hand
