chew on my thoughts
swallow my pride
desires and wants
i must deny

the bitter taste
inside of me
i must face and erase
to set myself free

stir up my thoughts
give them to God
not just a taste
but the entire lot

take all i have
take it to heart
now is the time
to give it to God
