I am ashamed to admit you were right
A picture does tell a thousand tales
Though eying you in person creates a thousand tales
Envisioning your touch comes as close as the moon to the wolf
Yet feeling it in person feels fuller than the air in my lungs.
This space in between is vast I fear to breath
Please don’t turn blue - I plead to my reflection
To you; keep my pen inked, don’t let it run dry
