They must be gargling with bicarbonate
that's why they're in a state
but wait!
isn't there a prophecy that foretold of this doom or am i shooting at the stars and colliding with the moon,

I'm watching it on telecast
teletyping my reply
and my tin of Andrews Liver Salts
is already standing by.

It's not me i said to no one
and no one blinked an eye
they're all busy with bicarbonate
wondering when or if they'll die.
