All the realms of insanity
I’d sooner tread
Than be lost
In accosting
Immutable dread
For a shred of my dignity
Left to preserve
When the world
In its turning
Is malcontent verve
Wishing ill
On another
A massacre
Fracture
A captured
Caged-animal’s
Faithless
Enrapture
Encompass me
Weak
In conceit
Self-deceit
And expose my undoing
Like red upon wheat
