Jan 2022
When we cried,
No tear dried.
Our shirts soaked,
Every feeling poked.

Why?
Was there something,
Anything we could try?
There was only the ending.

It should've took my heart.
It took is all apart.
I'd give anything to have you stay.
Just give me another day!

But we'll grieve instead.
Hope to see you over there.
Then we'll share the bread.
You were just so rare.
A goodbye
