A million shooting stars
Like missiles; a barrage
Spanned across the galaxy
But can still be seen afar
Dashing bursts of light
Screaming through the sky
Fading into the nothingness
In the blink of someone’s eye
Pray the blinking doesn’t last
But, whatever you decide
It’s still very worthwhile to see
When two stars collide
