Matching Melancholy
It could be bare trees in a fog
or dark clouds, the eerie wind
trying to gain access through
leaky window frames.
Where a poem is born need
not have any prompts, in the
mind of a poet such scenes
exist even in sunny days.
Matching melancholy is not
an art form of plagiarism or
theft of copyright from nature
it's going from light to darkness.
