So miniscule,

This,

Is the glinting pride

Enveloped in embarrassing.

When listening,

To words too gentle

This shell too trembles

In a desperate need

Watching this man

Try to escape

Casting out humble thanks

Two feet

that know the fastest

Route to less praise

Back to the jagged

Familiarity if self loathing

Where all I know

Do,

Is only good enough

For another escape
