Innocuous - BLT Word Challenge

She spoke in tones of innocence, The heart makes you defenseless, Her anodyne smile, Could stick around awhile, As we bask in our reticence She spoke in a soft tongue so foreign, A place I could not determine origin, Her words, they killed my pain, Driven from madness to sane, Listening to her covert chorus

Here's the word challenge of the day. This one was a little difficult, but I think it's nice when someone is able to lull us from aggressive posturing, dulling the war we weave in our head.
