Jan 2021
when the night simmers
the stars play an orchestra
of light and heartbeats,
and I envision you
behind your French glass frame,
stretched out like a dream
with bare ankles, crisscrossed
bone to bone
and your fingers so fare,
pressed between sepia-edged
love letters
