Stubborn
To cover your shyness
You stick
Your neck out of the waves
Spreading
After a courageous inhale
Your sticky wings
And push yourself
Off the ground
Soaring
Lips parting
When finally
You allow yourself the smile
That was building up
All this time:
You know how to fly now
Me
