Waking up after lockdown
Life was getting a bit like, can I say ‘groundhog day’?
Where everything was the same each day,
The monotony was getting painful and boring,
And life didn’t seem to be worth living!
And then suddenly lockdown was lifted!
There’s a world out there!
Places to go!
People to see!
Still some restrictions but staying safe!
But what a change in life?
Enjoyment had gone but it’s back again!
Life is for living,
Life is for fun,
Off out right now for coffee and cake,
Meeting a friend now I am awake!
