Early morning rise
Can hardly open my eyes
The eyelids are heavy
The body is unwilling
Just want to turn over
Don't want any bother
But she's there
Tapping my knee
Mummy," lets go walkies!"
is her ultimate plea!
Up I get and out we go
I wonder why
I'm tired you know!
But there's a silver lining here
Its so quiet and calm
And the field is quite near
So she's now happy
And I'm in good cheer!
