You say you don’t remember
Meanwhile I can’t forget
All the times and all the tones
Of every word you ever said
And still I feel that I don’t know
Whether I’ve got credit or I’ve got debt
I don’t know if I still owe
Or whether I’ve paid it all off yet

And now I’m sitting slack jaw
Stunted shattered and afraid
I hear the buzz of the saw
Your cruel love is the blade
Cutting deep, I’m sinking now
Beneath stark waves of pain
Time moved the edge straight down
Past the nerve into my vein

I’ve yet to let myself forget
But you say you don’t recall
I can’t seem to, I just need to
******* give up forget it all
And when rain pours to the sky
The earth crumbles from above
Only then will it pass me by
The memory of your love

You say you want to be a friend
You said its me not you
You said that we would never end
You said we’re a bond we can’t undo
But you did...
and I can’t...
and I won’t...
Forget it.
