How do you
Intervene with
A heart
So bound and determined
On self destruction
That rationality
Leaves it with each beat
My heart
Has always been my downfall
Racing into each burning building
Because there was the possibility
Of love on the top floor
How many time do I need
To try to save someone else
Before my heart understands
It needs to save me first
