I was born beneath
the waxing darkened sky & moon
I saw the depths
of darkness too soon

When the stars sparkled
and twinkled in my iris
I was born backwards and
remembered my past
life as isis

I was born beneath the waxing moon
I experienced the depths
of darkness too soon

So forgive me when I no longer
swoon- for lord knows
I saw the depths
of darkness too soon
