May 2020
Glorious sun
Is cut in twain
By distant jagged horizon
Bleeding pink and ochre
Crimson and orange
From its nightly wound

Crickets chirping
In anticipation
For heavy shroud
Of coolest darkness
I love sunsets and feeling the hectic day transition into a calm night
