Apr 2020
has jumped the cliff, grown stiff
off the edge of a ledge from a broken wedge,
It breaks to leave off a leash.
It won't listen,
Hence joy fails to glisten and regrets to compromise.
So here I lie.
I call for hire for which I desire
to douse the fire Our minds acquire
From the abundant pile of brainless life,
In the endless sea of tears, we cry
On the shores of sweet need
I thirst for water I can breathe,
But the sea beats the brink and,
I can't think.
