How fortunate am I
to, of my own volition and power,
be carrying my own corpse,
across this earth.
Without fear of death
pain,
darkness.
I may will myself
into the wild.
Leaving life,
wending away from these musings.
Free
to escape my mind forever.
How very fortunate.
Am I?
I like taking long long walks in moonlight, and forks in the trail always make me wonder.
