Sequence of my affection

You opened your world to me,
shared all the sadness you felt,
all the pain you endured,
and all the times you're alone
I wonder how you,
the purest person I ever met
could deserve such catastrophe

You did your best to make others feel loved
When all they did was to make you feel tired
The sorrow you're trying to hide?
It is apparent,
seen between your smile

I guess you'll never know
but the truth is
every night we talked
Were the nights that you are insensible

I would never tell you
but those locked up conversations
where we shared something in common
soon became the sequence of my affection
