Honored Few

With a rifle on their shoulder
They march for you and me
Allowing us to live our life
In this land that we call free

They wear the flag with honor
Protecting one and all
They choose the life of knowing
That not all will come back home

They fight when they are needed
Stand straight, tall and strong
Giving all they have by choice
They answer to the call

Some have died for freedom
In lands far away
We thank you for the service
And we honor you today

There are no words that can express my true gratitude.  So from me, just one American, to all service members both past and present I want to say Thank You. Thank you so much for the freedom that you allow each of us to have.
