You once told me
What happens,
Happens
Now I let waves
Crash and fall

Destiny resides
With the oyster
And pods of circles
Broken clay
That lay sprayed by salt-licked sea beds, untouched

Coral floors
Where you rest
Easy and placid
Lovely and silent
Like warm water

Is like a washed up sail
Caught in the whirlwind
Of fate
I had to brave storms
To stay afloat
Where I found your

Memory once more
And death in a much more
Mysterious way
In the heart of sudden tumult and solace
